Rosalie fulfilled the role of a part-time and full-time au-pair for a variety of families whereby the scope of responsibility and requirements of the role varied family to family. Including childcare and tutoring, these roles often included supervising the household, including home security, transport, caring for animals, preparing meals. Age groups varied from 4 years to 17 years old.Skills obtained from au-pairing include reliability and responsibility, leadership, communication and teaching abilities.

Rosalie worked as an exam invigilator for students, fulfilling the role of a private invigilator and academic exam reader for children requiring additional academic assistance during their examination period. Rosalie fulfilled these roles throughout the year as a dedicated person for a range of students.
Critical interpersonal skills were developed while fulfilling this role including strong professional communication and
promoting a comfortable and positive learning environment.

Rosalie obtained 3 weeks of working experience during an internship at Reliance Clothing. Reliance Clothing acts as a hub between manufacturers and clients, facilitating the procurement, design, production and despatch of garments for a range of commercial South African Retailers. During the internship program, Rosalie gained insight into the back-end processes of the retail industry, conducting seasonal trend research as well as the role of a retail merchandiser.
